We had such an amazing week. It all started with a visit from Nana & Popi. They came to give Wayne & I a chance to go away & then to celebrate Livy's 2nd Birthday. Wayne & I were blessed with a timeshare in Atlantic Beach, NC. We were there for 3 days. The weather was amazing & we got to relax. It was very strange not having any responsibilities!! By day 3, though, we were definitely ready to see our Liv Bug.

When we got home, it was time to plan for Livy's party. We just had family this year. Man how Livy has changed in just a year- she was so into partying, except for the singing. She cried when we sang Happy Birthday. But as soon as she could dig into the cake, she was fine! What a great day!

Before Nana & Popi left, we decided to take our last nightly walk to feed the turtles. We have a lake near our house & it is FULL of turtles. Livy gets so excited & knows when we are near to their place of feeding. She could spend an hour there talking to the turtles & feeding them. She LOVES nature!
